BM Dresses are making me mad

BM Dresses are making me mad

so i have a range of sizes in my BP and although strapless is the most popular i have seen, i dont think its the most comfortable.
i toyed with letting the girls all pick their own dresses except im kinda liking the two toned dresses and not all styles match.
i cant seem to find nice dresses with straps, halter whatever...what a hard decision!!

sorry had to vent

Ahhhhhh, reason number 37 I'm happy we decided against a bridal party. Sorry, had to gloat for a moment. Now back to you. I'm sorry girl. It really is rough that we are all cut from a different cloth. I love the fact you want everyone to be comfortable.....a lot of people don't even consider us fluffier girls when looking at dresses. Any strapless dress can have spaghetti straps put on for support and a good seamstress can make a shawl lickety split out of matching material. Why don't you talk to the girls. Could be the bustier girl/s you are worried about don't mind strapless. Don't drive yourself crazy. The fact that you care is wonderful and if you speak with your girls, they'll love you even more for it. Good luck.

Or maybe they can add a little cap sleeve to them or something?

straps can be added to anything!!! dont rule out strapless, if your girl are uncomfortable then have straps put on.... i wouldnt do a cap sleeve tho, they can be pretty uncomfortable too.

thank you amanda...i just feel that these girls are important to the weddng and everyone knows that because they are in the BP and they will have eyes on them so i dont want them feeling ugly and uncomfy. i think this is harder than picking my own dress lol

Yup, you can attach a strap to any dress. When I was shopping for dresses, they kept telling me that. You can even add a cap sleeve. If its strapless, really the possibilities are endless.

I have the same problem! I havent started looking at BM dresses but I have superskinny BMs and plus size girls. I love the look of strapless, esp. since it will be in July. But other than the problem of size..my sister has stars on the top of her chest from surgery and I dont know how she'll feel about them showing. I dont even want to start BM dress shopping- its gonna be a nightmare!

Re: BM Dresses are making me mad

i have worn two strapless dresses in two seperate bridal parties & i will never make any one wear them. they are super uncomfortable. the entire day & night i was pulling the dress up. i had to purchase an extremely expensive & uncomfortable bra both times. my sister who worn one of them with me was only 18 at the time & she is super skinny & big chested they couldn't get the dress to flatter her at all.

also if you are getting married in church you are not suppose to have bare shoulders so you may have to add on & those things become expensive & annoying.

Re: BM Dresses are making me mad

i am looking at dresses with either little flutter sleeves or halter style, or a BM dress that has a jacket that can be purchased.

My girls range from a size 0 (if that, she shops in the childrens department) to a 'fluffy' size as my MOH puts it, so I also need a dress or a designer that will flatter all of them. Luckily, designers seem to be coming out with sleeved dresses, but there is one by Jordan that has a chiffon flutter sleeve, not tight to the arm, but would allow for undergarments and some arm coverage
