I was planning to start looking for BM dresses this weekend. I met someone from Bridal Reflections at a showcase at my venue the other night and she said that, for weekends, I'd have to make an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance. Is that the case with most dress stores--even places like David's Bridal or the Wedding Center? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I had no idea that BM dresses would ever require an appointment. I thought that was just for the bride's dress.

BM Dresses - do you always need an appointment?
I don't think you need to make the appointment 2-3 weeks in advance for Bridal Reflections. I made my appoints like during the same week, MAYBE a week in advance. I guess it depends.
Not all stores require an appointment though. I went to Village Bridal in Babylon and I didn't have an appointment. Neither did I for Princess Bridals in Farmingdale.

I didn't look at Davids Bridal or the Wedding Center, but I did make appointments where we looked. We only did it a week in advance though, just to make sure someone was assigned to us to help us. Otherwise if it's busy and other girls have appointments you will be waiting around for them to help you.

My girls got their dresse at davids bridal and I made appointments but I didn't really need to. You can prob call the day before and make one and not have a problem.

Thanks ladies! The girl who told me to book an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance was from the Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. She said it's been crazy there on Saturdays. As long as I can start looking somewhere this weekend, I'll be happy!

I haven't been through this process yet, but my friend who got married said that she made an appointment the week of when visiting Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and she had no problems. HTH!

I made one appointment to look at BM dresses and when I walked in, no one helped me so I didn't see the point in it. I'll only make appointments from this point forward when it's for my dress or if one of the girls has a problem/question about their dresses, otherwise, I don't see why you would need one to browse.
