I am a very relaxed layed back person. For the bm dresses I was thinking about having everyone wear different style dresses. I was thinking about picking out a few for them to choose from and just saying to make sure the color n fabric is the same. Anyone have any advice about this?? I feel like its the best way but also think it could backfire on me and make it more stressful... any suggustions let me know!!!

Re: bm dresses help
i got my BM dresses from Davids Bridal. you can get diff style dresses with the same colors... i told my girls the color they had to get but then they would get a choice of what type of dress (ex- strapless, halter) they prefer to wear. the best part was that it was relatively inexpensive compared to other BM dresses i've seen.

thats what I was thinking. I know from other weddings I went to some girls dont look as good as others this way everyone will like their dress and feel beautiful!

we did the same thing for my cousins wedding... she picked a color and we wore different dresses... there was only 3 of us but it worked out that we all wanted different dresses

I would definitely pick a few options that way you are assured you at least like the ones they are thinking of...but i think it is a nice idea! Just make sure it is same designer, fabric and color!

Thats exactly what I plan on doing. We may get them from Helens Bridal Center in Commacvk though. My only request will be that everyone is in tea length.

Re: bm dresses help
That's what I did - I have 6 bridesmaids and I picked 4 from Bill Levkoff that were all tea-length and that had a contrasting color sash, and all in the tissue taffeta fabric. One's a v-neck, one a sweetheart strapless, and the other 2 strapless. I told each girl to get what they think is best for them, and it was amazing that each one of them felt best in a different choice - just 2 overlaps! Plus, with a slightly larger bp, I think it adds for some visual interest.

Re: bm dresses help
What I did was pick a color and they picked a dress. It was so much easier because they all picked something they were comfortable in.
