My bm dresses are the color plum and i would like to add a sash but I am not sure what color it should be? I was thinking either silver or a light purple. Also I am clueless about what color shoes to match? Help! I am hopeless lol

Do you have another color to accent with the plum that you are incorporating into your wedding? My BM are not wearing a sash, but my FGs will wear an olive green sash to complement the eggplant in the BM dresses.
As for shoes, My girls are wearing silver shoes. Mainly we came to the decision together because they all had silver shoes already. I didn't want them to have to go out and buy new shoes when you won't even see them. As long as everyone had on the same color, I didn't mind.

I'm so bad with matching colors, so I don't have another color incorporated in the wedding yet. That's why I wanted to add the sashes. :(
Yes I have long dresses too but I know I'll be annoyed if not everyone has the same shoes (yes I know I'm annoying) but I think silver would be great for the shoes

You can't go wrong with silver shoes (or gold or copper either)...that way people can wear them again in the future. I think silver and purple are beautiful together.

My BM dresses are plum too! There is a sash 'built in' to them already in plum chiffon (the dress itself is satin). The gowns are to the floor, so I told my girls what ever silver shoes they'd like to wear are fine. I am using ivory as a coordinating/accent color, but I am picking that up in silver and pearl jewlery so the look is cohesive without being overbearing. Silver sashes would look great on a dress that needs one though!
