BM DRESSES (posting again)

Sorry but im not getting much answers on my 09 board. lol Can you ladies tell me where you went dress shopping with your BM's?

We went to RK Bridal. They have a very large selection

we looked at Bridal Reflections, Commack Wedding Center, Burtons... We ordered from Burtons because the BM dress there was about $60 cheaper than everywhere else. However, they don't have a big selection.... Bridal Reflection and Commack Wedding Center had huge selections.

lol i just went there on sunday and DID NOT LIKE IT. they only gave us 20 minutes in the fitting room. i dont like to feel rushed.

I went to Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills- I knew that I wanted a Bill Levkoff and they had a lot of options there & they worked with me on the price.

I went to where I got my wedding dress at Bridal Couture in manhasset. Had my girls pick a dress and then got the style # and looked for it cheaper. THe cheapest I found was at RK bridal no frills.

If you can, go during the week. That is when we went and we were there for over an hour. The lady helped us soo much. We had all tea length dresses, with the exception of one. We ended up liking the long look, so the woman brought all similiar long dresses in the color I wanted. I thought they were very helpful. However, I heard since the weekends are crazy you dont get the same service.

Weekends there are nuts. I was able to go during the week with my MOH and it was empty.

I found the style I liked in a magazine and then they tried it on in a store in Patchogue which I will not recommend bc it was AWFUL THERE!

Elena's Bridal in Merrick....it is a small family owned shop, but they have a lot of nice stuffs. Their prices are reasonable and the servise is GREAT!
