I've been searching for Coral dresses and I really don't like the 'typical' BM dress, they all fit my girls kind of frumpy and weird lengths since everyone is short. I also couldn't find the perfect coral color in any brand.
We found the PERFECT color for a dress at Bloomingdales on clearance and bought one size, I'm working on getting more dresses from other stores across the country..
Now I'm having doubts that the dress isn't dressy enough and that some people will come more dressed up that the BM's.
Thoughts?
It also won't look that short on my BM's because their a lot shorter
no way i think it's really pretty. You can jazz them up with nice jewelry and shoes

did you try priscilla of boston? they have such adorable dresses, in coral and sometimes they have a bridesmaids dress sale for 10 percent off!

Are you having the ceremony at the OFC? It's a little short if you are getting married at church... I think it's a good BM dress for an afternoon ceremony/reception. At what time are you getting married?

me too... and even moreso since i had short dresses... they just seem really really short... i would ask your bm's about it... some girls might not be comfortable in it...

We're having the ceremony at OFC at 6:00 pm. I think the model makes it look shorter...
I think we might be able to dress it up with jewelry and sparkly shoes..
Here's a pic with my MOH wearing it, you can see how much longer it looks on her.
I think they're perfect for a casual day time summer wedding, but if that is not what you are doing you may want to consider something else. HTH

It's not a day time wedding though...FH thought it might be too casual too...
This is so frusturating!! It's really hard to find the perfect color!! They are also only $99...

i agree with this.
at first I thought it was too casual. BUT
it's a great dress and it's your wedding so do what makes you happy
i've worn ridiculous BM gowns before so I'd be happy to buy one I might actually wear again.

I like this idea. I love the dress, but would definitely try to dress it up a little bit.

I love the color - so pretty! Agreed on a belt or some more sparkly jewlery to make it dressy, and depending on their hair/makeup Im sure it can work!

I think its a little casual for an evening wedding but thats my opinion...my thought process is I know that if i was going to an evening wedding, what i would wear would be more dressy than that.
HTH!!! are you dead set on short? or you just want something atypical?

add a belt I think it's fine as long as you're not going for a really formal wedding.

I agree with everyone else. Jazz it up a bit with some chunky bracelets, or a bib necklace to have a bold statement.
