im a control freak... but on the other hand.. im a pushover.. lol i dont like to argue or upset ppl i like...
sooooo.. since my whole day is shot.. do u think i should go try on BM dresses alone on myself and see which ones i like and then take my bm/moh to try them on and pick from a select few?
(they wont know i tried them on already , heh)
i found the dress! i only tried on 2..both of which i loveeee
I don't think you should try on the BM dresses unless your BM's have your body type, because it might look nice on you but HORRIBLE on them!!! Idk JMO

Re: BM DRESSES
i think its a great idea actually....I plan to narrow it down to a few that I like and then i will bring them to try those on and see which one is best for the girls. If you go try some on you will get a better idea of which ones you like based on how they look in person rather than just in a picture.

I agree, its not that bad of an idea, it will give you a head start of what you like

Re: BM DRESSES
thats why im going to select a few. lol but we pretty much have the same bodies.. welll we're all around the same weight.
1 is suuper thin so she wont need alterations. her wedding gown was purchased right off the rack.
im just antsyyyy and i know 1 will pick something out that is soo nasty so i dont wanna give them that freedom lol cuz i have such a horrible time saying 'no'

Re: BM DRESSES
I considered doing this. My MOH was able to go with me to weed out the dresses, and she has the same body type as I do so it was the same difference.
Now I have to go back with my BMs.... the fun will begin ....

Re: BM DRESSES
Barb: I planned on doing this but i went to see it and then sent it to the BMs and just said, this is the dress, lol. I know that seems mean, but honestly like you said, I dont want their opinions too much on which dress because if I dont like it, Ill have to hurt their feelings lol. I would never pick anything they would feel uncomfortable in because I know how I feel about my body; I guess I just got lucky that the dress I like is not conforming or anything. I did say thought that they could add straps if that makes them feel better.
Wait, why would it matter if they knew you tried it on?
What happened at Saksss?

That was definitely my issue...I brought my sister (who is pretty much the same size as my other girls) and made her try on dresses. I was afraid I was not going to be able to say no to the other girls if they said they didn't like something, but I knew I'd be able to handle my sister.
Good luck!

Re: BM DRESSES-UPDATE
on the model the dress is like drapey? lol so loose and flowyy..and its not like that in person. the fabric is actually thick.
the other dresss is this 1.. i want it in african violet. looked nice,too.. love the bling..butmaybe that bling will take away from me? or too much bling.. btwn the invites,my dress, my veil, my shoes... my doj, their doj..... place cards, menu cards... too much rhinestones?

I agree that I don't love the bling on this one. But I do think that either one is fine with your dress...if anything the fact that they both have the sweetheart neckline will make it look uniform

Re: BM DRESSES-UPDATE
i really love the first one in your original post. I love the color. It definaly goes fine with your dress. Even though they are both sweetheart necklines, there's not completely similiar.
