Do you think they come out with the 'new' styles for the year? Do you think if I go out looking in January for a Novemember wedding, they would have the newer ones out?

The 'spring' 07 lines are out now. The 'fall' 07 dresses come out around May, depending on the designer.

Why don't you call a couple of places that you plan on going to for the dresses and ask them when their fall line will come out?

I went to a bridal shop today and they told me that new designs come out after xmass (jan/feb) and usually in the summer (june/july)

they usually do spring and fall lines, so I would say right before spring and right before fall
