I am sooo annoyed...I have 1 BM that has yet to get measured for her dress. She is a friend and every time I call, IM or email, I get 'I'll call you back', 'give me a sec', etc. Yet, she never gets back to me!! Does this not sound like she is avoiding me??? I try to keep in touch with her but I'm always getting excuses. I understand she has a 9 month old but still...I tried not to be pushy when asking when she could get to the bridal salon but I never get a straight answer. I've had 1 BM drop out already & now I'm getting PO'd. I need to confront her but what should I say? I need to know if she is still in or what the problem is. Please help!!

please take the advice that I only WISH I had when I was at your stage of the planning....
flat out ask her if she wants out of the BP. because it's only going to get worse. you don't need the aggravation.

I think it's still to early to get fitted, but she should not be avoiding you like that. I would ask her flat out, what's the deal?

I'm not trying to get her to go to a fitting...it's to get measured to order the dress. It's funny too b/c about 2 weeks ago I told her I changed the color and she was so please with the new color. Then I showed her the FG dresses and she was ecstatic. I really have to go call her. Thanks girls!

I am having a similiar situation. My cousin has not returned two of phone calls about getting measured. He sister is getting married on Nov. 12, so I am not sure if she wants to lay out the deposit. I even offered to do it for her. If she doesn't want to be in it, I understand just let me know. She use to call me 3-4 times a week.

Similar problem here too. One of my BM's moved out of state and it's very difficult to discuss the dresses (or any aspect of the wedding for that matter) with her. We're growing apart and I feel as though she doesn't even want to take part in my big day.

Just so you know, it doesn't get any better...two of my bridesmaids have still not gone to pick up their dresses. The wedding is three weeks away and I know that both of them will need alterations. The dress place keeps calling me to tell me that they haven't picked them up yet.

Don't ask if they want out.... then she will think that you want her out. Just ask if everything is ok because she hasn't called you back. But point out that she is ignoring what you want.
