BM gift on top of hair and makeup? (repost from 06)

Hi Ladies,

I'm considering paying to have my BMs' hair and makeup done at the same place I'm getting mine. My FSIL told me that she got that as a BM gift once and really appreciated it. I'm a little hesitant though. Is that enough or should I give them something in addition?

I think that is enough and very generous of you. Maybe if you really wanted to get them something small that they can have for after the wedding to remember it by but nothing too expensive. Also it would be nice to have something to actually give them at the RD.
Maybe a compact with their initials, or an engraved picture frame that they can put your wedding picture in afterwords.

I paid for my MOH, BMs, and Mother's hair. In hindsight I wish I only paid for 3 of my BM's hair (I had a MOH, my mom, and 4 BMs).

The 3 BMs who I am talking about appreciated it and I didn't mind doing it because they had to travel to my wedding (airfare, dress, renting a car etc..) , my mom and sister who was a BM showed up 2 1/2 hours late.

Honestly, I would pick either hair or make-up, don't do both.

I'm paying for their hair, but not makeup. I got them small tote bags and lip gloss to give to them at the RD.

I would not feel obligated to give them gifts on top of Hair and make-up. I am paying for my BM's dresses as their gift. The dresses are $300 dollars each and I'm paying for the alterations.

Im going to pay for hair OR makeup and they will have the option to pay for the other on their own. I am also going to pay for jewelry for the day of. It may be cheap though. Depends on what I like to go with their dress.

That's a really good idea! If you still want to give them something at the RD you can surely find some inexpensive bracelets or small bottles of perfume.
