BM Gifts

Do you think paying maybe $50 towards their hair/makeup day of and getting them necklaces and earings is a good gift?

On average how much is hair/makeup per person for someone who comes to your house?

Re: BM Gifts

I bought the girls earings and a necklace. I think that is more than enough, I got that when I was in someone's wedding also. I bought the BM's earings and a necklace that they will be able to wear again. I think they will appricate that I put thought into it.

I am going to a salon the day of my wedding, but the nice thing is they are closed on Sundays, so the place is all mine and my mother's. She is charging $65.00,I am going to Impressions Hair Salon in Farmingdale. They do a really good job and they are cheep. But it is alot when you have to buy for 8 girls and then buy necklaces and earrings.

Re: BM Gifts

My BM paid $75 each for their hair and makeup was free- one of our friends. From what I've heard on the boards, between $65-100 seems about the range for makeup.

Re: BM Gifts

I was thinking of doing that but then I figured its something they cant actually keep. I have 8 girls in my bridal party and wanted them to have something they can have. So Im thinking of just getting them a necklace from Tiffanys they can wear the day of the wedding.

Re: BM Gifts

I paid for makeup and hair the day of the wedding instead of getting them jewerly they wouldn't wear after the wedding (they both like gold and gold didn't go with the dress) it came to $260.00 for both of them (I only had 2).

Hair was $50 at a salon
Makeup was $80 each for her to come to my house.
