BM gifts? <a little long>
So I'm thinking..and thinking...and thinking!
I made my bo-k's with real touch flowers (gorgeous!) and I am putting a bo-k frame with a picture of me and the girls so they know which bo-k is theirs, plus it makes it a personal gift =) I have a great poem that makes me cry every time I read it to attach or give the girls when I give them their flowers..this is it.. (I changed it a little bit - added the last line) I'm thinking that I'm going to read it aloud at the rehearsal dinner then give them the flowers and other gifts then??? what are your thoughts on that? or should I just wait and give it to them the day of the wedding??
Poem:
Flowers for today for sisterness
For lip gloss and blue dreams.
For staying up late to talk
For road trips, drinks, and daydreams
For high school ways and college days
And all the years in between
Flowers for the sisters we grow up with
And those we meet along the way
Flowers for sisters, on my wedding day!
I made their jewelry as well, earrings and necklace..
I want to get them flip flops from old navy when they have that dollar sale! (I have 11 girls!)
I also wanted to give them a little photo albulm each with pictures throughout the years...
MOH = my sister
BM's :
FH's sister (known for 4 years)
Mo = known since birth, literally!
Kelly,Meg,Kristin = best friends from kindergarten!!
Heather,Alison = besties from HS
Gizelle = bestest from College
Casey, Amanda = besties from after college (FH''s friends gfs)
I def have tonsssssss of pictures for each of them =) was thinking making one on shutterfly - its 10 bucks each albulm. hmmmm?
Also...we didn't book the DJ yet but a friend of ours used him this weekend, and had tv's showing a slideshow. FH saiid it was a waste bc they just showed a 5 min slideshow the whole night and the rest of the night was just a photo of the two of them BUT I was thinking of making my own slideshow and dedicating it to our bridal party for being there for us and filling it with pictures of everyone (if you can't tell by now, I am obsessed with taking/ collecting pictures! its a sickness i tell ya!! haha) and friendship quotes then thanking them in the end. Also wanted to do a family one too. Thoughts??
