I've been having a little trouble deciding what to get my BMs as gifts. I am paying for their hair and makeup, so thats about $140 per girl plus tips. I want to get them an actual gift also and I am not in love with the jewelry idea b/c they all have different styles. Right now I am leaning towards a nice bottle of perfume. Is this a good gift? I am thinking either Chanel No 5 or Chanel Chance - two of my favorites. Would you be happy if you got that as a gift? Which one would you rather get? Also, my sister has very different style from the 3 other girls - she is wearing a dress for my wedding but she NEVER wears dresses, she usually wears guy clothes, cologne, etc. So, is it ok if I get her something different from the rest of the girls? I think the other girls would understand but just want to be sure. She is also the MOH so I might get her something a bit more special. Any opinions would be great. TIA!

Re: BM Gifts - Opinions
I think perfume is a very personal thing and very hard to buy someone, unless you know exactly which one they want....
if you knew exactly what each girl wore and got them their fav bottle each, rather than giving them all the same bottle, then I would say okay....
what about a tote bag maybe with slippers, personalized wine cup, etc......

I think nice perfume is a great idea! You could get them each a bottle of their fave perfume. Tell them you are looking for something to wear on your wedding day and ask them to recommend their fave perfume.

I've heard of people giving completely different things to each BM/MOH ... it's hard to give one gift to serveral diff girls
you can def buy perfume for the BMs, and something else for your sister

IMO, perfume is a very personal choice so unless you know they love the ones you wear Id probably either get them what THEY wear or go another option. I got mine all ballet flats to change into if their feet hurt, a candle which was personalized, a pair of earrings (but I know you said no jewelry). For my MOH I bought her a tiffany bracelet. Good luck!!

I'm actually in similar situation, I am paying for hair and make up also, and i completely agree with you on the jewelry thing. i was thinking about getting each of them a gift certificate for either a facial or massage at a spa that they like (which will require going all over LI and NYC). But i also wanted to get them something! I was thinking maybe something from bendels, but i am not sold on it yet. I like the idea of perfume if you are going to get them the one that they like to wear, but I wouldn't want a random bottle of perfume. The two you mentioned are really popular and nice so I am sure they would like it though...

OK... so I have been asking the girls for perfume reccos and they gave me their favorites but now I am thinking, maybe its silly to get them something they already have. I know perfume can be personal but honestly if someone gets me a nice bottle and its not something I'm familiar with, I'm pretty open to trying to new ones. I will have to think it over some more.
I thought about facials/spa stuff, but a bunch of my friends got me stuff like that for my shower so I don't want it to seem like I'm just giving back to them what they gave me. This might be a stupid reason not to though.
Bendels has awesome stuff for gifts. They actually have great pieces if you are looking for fun jewelry/accessories (not for the wedding).

If the girls wear perfume, I say definitely. I would definitely take a new bottle.
I think its fine to give different gifts to each too---I am thinking about doing a small gift for each girl that is different from the others I'm giving them.

I am full-on obsessed with the bendel's jewelry and accessories. Best decision they ever made was to stop selling clothing.

This is a great suggestion. It is so personal, it is better to ask. I love Chance, but hate Chanel No. 5... so its better to know what they like or it will be a waste of money.
