I want to get the girls their jewelry but dont know what kind.. they are wearing a jim hjelm dress in bordeux. It has material sleeves (hard to explain but real pretty)
i was also thinking of getting them pashminas since it will be cold.. they canaslways use these after the wedding when they have places to go?

I have 5 girls (including my MOH) and I got them sterling silver necklaces from Tiffany's. They can wear them that night if they want, it will look great with their dresses. I bought them a small dyed handbag to match their dress too. They probably won't use that again, but at least they will always have the necklace.
I am also giving them a nice card the day of the rehersal. Inside will be a top 10 list of why I'm friends (or sisters) with each one of them...a joke thing of course. I finished writing them out the other day and I was laughing so hard. I'm not the most sentimental person, so they will be expecting something like that!

I bought anklets at fashion bug for my sis's wedding for her girls. BAD IDEA!!! They kept getting caught in the crinlin of the dress. Depending on what you wanted to spend, try the flea markets.

I just ordered necklance/earring sets from a booth in the Attias Flea Market for $30 each. Like an idiot, I forgot to ask whether they were sterling silver BEFORE I signed the order and they're not (LOL!) But this woman swears that if the girls keep them in a sealed bag, they won't turn. I have sterling from Tiffany's that turns if I leave it out on my dresser without wearing it for a week so there should be no difference. It was a matter of being able to afford only a sterling silver necklace or getting them a set so I chose to go with the set.
But I am going to be burning special CD's for each of them & I also got them Yankee Candles with holders(Wedding Day scent). For my sister (MOH), I'm also paying for her makeup that day.

I am thinking about giving them a manicure and pedicure gift certificate and also a necklace and earings in a jewlery box from thing remebered.
I also bought silver tiffany necklaces...b/c I thought they would be timeless...
I also got them a massage and mani/pedi the day before...

I would definately go with pashminas for the girls. Jewelry is always nice too, what were you thinking, something girl specific or something to wear at the wedding? My girlfriend gave us all tiffany knot earrings for her wedding, in sterling silver. They were beautiful and classic and something we all have definatley worn over again.
I still am clueless about what im giving my girls.. my wedding is in 6 months and i still havent even asked all of them.

For my MOHs I am giving them diamond heart pendants (they are my sisters) For my BMs I bought them white gold dangling CZ hearts with the chain For the GM we got silver bracelets with cufflinks
yes its me- krisd73.. i needed a change and different ideas.. im probably going with the pashminas- thank you so much for the advice. i might actually do both the pashminas and jewelry since the pashminas are very cheap on that website.. my wedding is in 6 months and i feel i need to get the ball rolling again!! thanks for your input it helps

Yabbobay...I chose an Elsa Peretti piece also! I went with the eternal circle pendant. I really like the open heart, but I know at least one of my girls has it. I also thought the eternal circle was a nice idea.
