hey ladies, I picked my BM dress, yay!! The dress itself is ice blue but the sash is sky blue. The dress also comes with a sky blue shawl. Oh and I am in the process of picking the shoes. I was thinking about a very light icey silver. Because its an April wedding I was throwing in gloves because we dont know what the weather will be. Should the elbow length gloves match the dress or the sash? Thank you ladies for all your help in my planning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY FH is so happy I have other brides to talk to about the planning, Since he can't be here.
I would have them match the sash but a word of advice gloves look horrible on girls with thick arms TRUST ME! I would do a shawl before gloves.

I probably should have posted all my BM are small. Almost the size of the model but shorter. So I am not worried about big arms, just the colors clashing,

Either blue would look nice really, I'm picturing it both ways and you can't go wrong. I'm the one who voted for the ice blue tho to match the dress, I think it would make the sash pop more.
My girls also wore silver shoes, it was nice bc now they can wear them again!! But I wouldn't get the gloves in silver.

OMG! I am using that dress for my girls, and in the exact same colors! Plus my wedding is 2 days before yours! LOL! I thought about gloves too, but my girls said they'd prefer to not wear them. I am having them dye their shoes to match the ice color. Usually the place where you get the shoes dyed will dye them back to black for free!

are you using pearl or silver Jewelry? Do you notice that they call it Periwinkle but all other designers have a darker blue as Periwinkle?

Either way i dont think you can really go wrong, I voted to do it the color of the dress not the sash though. I think that the gloves being the color of the sash will make your BP look busy

I am having a crystal themed wedding. So I opted for silver jewelry, with a crystal open heart pendant for the girls.
That's Why I wanted the pale blue dresses. It is a little strange that they call it periwinkle. Usually peri is a darker color. My girls were confused when they went to order, and almost ordered the colors in reverse! The dress is a light blue- Euro Peri, and the sash is Sky. To me sky should be the lighter color. Go figure!
