So I am in the process of picking out jewelry for my bridesmaids and I found a really nice set that matches their dresses perfectly. But now I'm wondering if I should look for something that might not match as well, but that they can get more use out of after the wedding. Which do you think is more important - matching the dresses or giving them something they can wear more often? TIA!

in my opinion, i think its better to buy something they can use again. I got some DOJ when i was in a wedding and i haven't worn it since but it matched the dresses well the day of. i think that since you are spending the money...its better to get something that you believe they will use more than just one day

I tried to do both with mine. I wanted something the girls would wear again-- but I wanted it to go well with the dress. Mine is not too matchy matchy to the dress, but still works well and I hope they will wear it again.
I think that if you love the jewelry that you chose and it goes with their dress, don't over analyze if the girls will wear it again! Definitly go for it.
