BM & MOH Dresses- Need a Bit of Help

Hey all,

So far I didn't really see any BM or MOH dresses that I really like in the color lavender.
I have 2 BM and 1 MOH and out of the BP only 1 BM is living out of town.

I need some help on finding really reliable websites that I can have them order from (not looking for them to pay more than $150.00 for the dress). I'm a bit hesitant but I'm at a loss atm.

TIA

I found my bm dresses on edensbridal.com, we are buying them from MAcys and I think they were around $150. The dress I picked comes in lavender also

I wouldn't mind going into the city but since I got one BM that is out of town I just want to make sure that it's a dress that she can order or that they can ship to her. I wouldn't mind buying her the dress and having it shipped (where she would pay me the money back for it) as long as it got there safe and it's the right dress.

yeah you can do that, infact they say to place the order together bc when they make the dresses its better its all at once bc when they put it in the dye it can come out different each time so the colors might be off if they're not from the same batch.

Or what i suggest is going there just to check out the dresses in person and then maybe all of you placing the order online

I think that is my biggest worry about it.. that it won't be the same dye lot and all. I was trying to see if she can come from TN and I just take her and my other BM but idk if that's do able atm.

well see if she can if not have her go somewhere by where she lives just to get measured and you place the order for her wherever you buy the dress

I'm in the same situation you're in. I am using lavender and have 3 of 5 BM in another state.
So I chose a designer, and made sure a store in their state carries the style I want. Then, I told them where to find it. Now I didn't want them to spend more than 150 either, but it ended up being a little more cause as you start looking you realize a lot of designers carry a different shade of lavender and material.

For my friend's wedding we had Euro Lilac..it was a Bill Levkoff and they were about 120.00

Let's see if the pic loads...

Those are really pretty- I need to check those out.. if anything I'll get her measured somehow..lol and then order the dress myself for her and have it shipped to her - or I'll get it and ship it to her..

I'll figure something out- my biggest worry is the dye lots not matching.

i think having her give you her measurements is the best idea, this way it can all get dyed together. Then after maybe shipping it to her and having her go to a seamstress to have it altered

Yes I am going to speak to her about it soon so we can get it all dyed together- I acutally had a nightmare about it the other night- probably why I am obsessing about it atm.

I saw this one, but feel it's too dark, I wanted something lighter which is why I went with another designer

One of my friends had a BM out of town...she ordered the dress for her and sent it to her so she could get it tailored etc on her own so it would fit her better in needed...
