I offered to pay for my BM's to have their makeup or hair done, and one of them said no, she'd rather just do it herself. And it wasn't in a way that she like felt bad for me paying for her.
This just strikes me as odd. If 4 of us have our makeup done by the same artist and then she does her own... idk, do you think it would look weird in pics?

I dont think it would look weird b/c the girls are all diff...diff skin, skin tones, hair, etc. I dont think it would be very noticeable.

It should look fine unless you're making all your bridesmaids have the same updo. As long as youre allowing them each to have their hair how they want, it'll be fine if she does her own. And makeup they match to skin tone, not to what you're wearing so everyone will be different anyways. Maybe she doesn't like people fussing with her (I have sensitive skin and zero tolerance for pain in my scalp, and having hair/makeup done on me is absolute torture and I'm actually dreading it for my big day!).

ITA...she may just not like ppl unfamiliar with her to do it...I know someone who didn't use a m/u artists b/c her skin was so sensitive...she didn't want to use a brush/etc that others used in fear she would break out.... don't worry...it will be fine.
