BM shoe disaster

i know there are worse thing in the world & it's not really a bi deal but since I'm still awake I just had to complain a little.
I told my BMs to get silver, metalic shoes ( I couldn't go because I work Saturdays so they went seperately.)
One wound up with white & the other bought silver with a wooden wedge heel Wood!!! are you kidding me? This is the same grl who doesnt want to get her hair done even thogh I want to pay for her.
Why does everyone have to stress me out? I'm trying not to worry about it, it's only shoes & I'll still be married at the end of the day but wooden shoes???

What was she thinking? Does she have any sense of style? Because if she did then she would've known that wood does not go with elegance. I could see if you were having your wedding in a cabin then she would fit right in.

Some people!! What are you going to do?

I know it's crazy ! It's a daytime wedding but still, they are wearing gowns. I'm so fed p I don't even want to say anything but how could I not? I hate those died shoes but maybe that's the way to go. I could tell them I'll pay like I need something else to waste $ on - but it might be the only way.

You shouldn't have to come out of pocket for anything except for your things. I am telling my BM's what shoes I would like for them to wear and I probably will get the jewelry so that they will be in unison. I had a problem with one bm's. She wanted to see the dress choices and I showed her 2. She told me she didn't like it. So, I said to her, ' You will receive an invite in the mail. CHUCKED! I have the choices in my album and I think I did pretty good with them. Maybe you can tell her that you don't want her to feel out of place for the day and maybe she can exchange the shoes.

no offense-- but no one really looks at their feet-- while it would piss me off too-- I honestly wouldnt worry about... all eyes are gonna be on you anyway... and the last thing you can really care about or have control over are the BM's feet

I agree. I'd be pissed too but in the end it's not worth it to even think about it anymore. The girls' shoes won't matter at all to you that day trust me, no one will notice.
I hope you can convince her to get her hair done though!

wooden shoes!?!? ugh; i had such problems with my bm,l and i stressed too. its easier said than done to say dont let it worry you. i would tell her to return them because you want everyone to look the same, but its up to you.

im sorry this has to happen, but dealing with bm is a nightm are sometimes. it does all work out in the end and that day will be the best day of your life

they're just shoes, especially if it's a long dress, no one will see them or care. I didn't ask about nor did I see any of my girls shoes

agreed - I have no idea what shoes they're wearing, and honestly, I don't care. the most important thing about shoes is that the person wearing them be comfortable - after all, it's pretty hard to stand up there at the alter for however long the ceremony is if your feet are killing you! So, as long as they're comfortable and happy, that's all that matters.

i havent really thought about shoes yet. but i think i'm going to have to agree.. they can wear whatever shoes they want. to have them constantly switchingweight onto one foot and moving around during the ceremony b/c their feet hurt will be more annoying to me then their shoes not completely matching..

i guess luckily for me. i have 4 fashionistas as bridesmaids lol
