Did you pick the shoes your 'maids would wear or did you allow them to pick their own shoes???

Let them pick their own. My bridal party has different tastes and some have 'issues' with their feet. I wouldn't want anyone to be uncomfortable or in pain! Besides, who sees the shoes anyway?

I picked out their shoes and bought them as a wedding gift, but they are wearing short dresses so I felt the shoes mattered more.
