I told my girls I want them to wear silver strappy shoes. I think it looks nice for the summer. I'm not a big fan of dyeable shoes, but it is your wedding so you get to decide what you want. I'm letting them pick whatever heel size they want. As far as the prices of the shoes, that is up to them and what they decided to pick out.

I have been asked to wear shoes before. It's your wedding, I would just do it.

I'm going to ask my girls to wear gold shoes. I've only told 2 of them about it so far, and neither had a problem with it.

I was always nervous that I would be asked to wear the same shoes as other girls in bridal parties I've been in; mostly because I have flat, skinny feet and have a HORRIBLE time finding shoes. Why don't you just let the girls pick dyable shoes so that way they can pick a style they are comfortable in, but they will still all look the same. Or you can have them all wear silver, gold, or nude (this is what I'm doing) shoes in whatever style they want.

I think with short dresses where you will see the shoes in the pictures it's fair to ask to get the same ones.

I gave my girls a choice. I asked 5 of my 7 girls and they actually said they wanted to wear the same shoes since the dresses are short. I haven't asked the other two but they will just have to suck it up if they don't want to because majority rules. I think as long as they aren't crazy expensive it's fine.

When I was a BM for my friends wedding she wanted us to have the shoes to match the dress. So we all got our own dyeables and then she paid to have them dyed for us.

My cousin just told us all to wear black shoes, we can choose our own styles. I am so grateful because too high of a heel and I would break my neck!

I bought all of my BM's Uggs so they will all be the same. Perfect for a photo opp too

I'm going to just send a link to the girls of shoes I like, and tell them to go out and get whatever shoes they want that look similar to the picture I send. We are doing short dark purple dresses, and I'm going to send them a pic of silver strappy shoes

If you are firm about wanting them all in the same shoe, maybe that can be your gift. Instead of buying my girls small purses or jewelry I paid for them all to get their airbrushed makeup done for the wedding.
