Okay so are any of you picking out a particular shoe for your BM's to wear?
I was hoping to just decide on a color... but, 1 of my BM's tried on different colored shoes with the dress and the color that I liked the most was a brass/bronze color.
My question is.... am I being Bridezilla by asking my BM's to get shoes that are such a specific color like that? Would it make it easier for them if I just picked out a specific shoe and ask them to get it or would that just be more bridezilla-ish??

well, im just telling them to wear silver sandal heel type....
i know some tell them EXACTLY which shoe to buy, others request the shoe to be dyed, etc
it depends what do you think your girls would go with / can they afford

Honestly, I wouldn't be happy if I was told the exact shoe I had to wear so I'm just telling my girls to get silver shoes. I'm 5'9 so if I was told to wear a 4' heel I would be sooo uncomfortable! JMO though.

I would never make anyone buy a bronze shoe.
It's a very odd color in general, not to mention that its just wayyyyy too specific.
No one is ever going to wear bronze shoes again. Ever.
If you're really hellbent on them, I suggest you buy them for the girls.

Actually, I have a few pairs of bronze sandals and they are a great neutral!
I think it would be fine if you said bronze and let them pick what they like. Maybe they could send you an image before they buy them?

I asked my bridesmaids what would be easier for them and they said just give them a color and they will find a shoe. 2 of them actually have shoes in the color I asked them to wear so it worked out

i'm doing this. i don't think i'd be too happy if i had to buy a specific shoe. it wouldn't bother me so much if it was something i could wear again and if it's something that i love but everybody has their own style, so i wouldn't want my girls to do that just for me.
editing to add this: i actually like bronze shoes and i think you can pair it up with a decent amount of things - so that being said, if the girls can get whatever bronze shoe they want, i think that's fine

not at all i know plenty of brides who ask this
im asking my girls just to makes sure they wear gold sandel heels..they can choose the heel size for their comfort but cannot wear flats

my dresses are long so i am asking that they all wear silver shoes.
bronze is not such a common color and i would feel weird making them buy that color knowing they would never wear them again,
if you HAVE to have them- give them to them as their bm gift?

I wanted gold shoes to match my BMs blush pink dresses, but I felt bad asking them all to buy gold shoes on top of everything else they have to pay for....so I am asking them to wear any type of silver shoe. I do like silver also and it makes it so much easier for them (they all have silver shoes)

I am asking my girls to purchase a specific shoe....because the color is pewter gray and it is not a easy color shoe to find. Unfortunately I might be a bridezilla...but they knew this side of me already. And how i like order....so nothing of my demands will surprise them

I agree with this 100% and I am also just asking my girls to wear a silver shoe of their choice.
P.S.. I love the bronze color or any metallic for that matter

really? I own bronze shoes and I love them. They match with so many different things.
I'm telling my girls what color to wear. That's about it. All of my girls will wear heels so I'm not worried about anyone wearing flats or anything plus I cam giving them flip flops to change into

i am telling my girls which shoe to buy. that in mind, im trying to keep it under $50. i figured, they'll probably only wear it for ther wedding and then never again. i need a gold pump, but i want them all in a specific kind of gold and there are so many types of gold, i don't want anyone to be different than the others.

THIS! i would be miserable if someone picked out shoes for me...i want them to be comfortable. And realistically, the girls arent going to re-wear the bridesmaid dress but if they get a pair of shoes they like they can re-wear them
