ok .. so i just got the flip flops i ordered for the girls to wear at the reception..but then i thought about it.. what if any of the girls wear stockings.. then they'll have a problem. I was originally going to get the chinese slippers but i couldn't find the right sizes in any of the stores i went to and the prices on line were just crazy. I tried my sister usa but every time i go online their site says there is an error..seems to be down for the time being.. what should i do? do i return the flip flops and keep searching for other slippers or keep em and hope they work out?

Keep the flip flops - are you giving them to the girls before the wedding ? Perhaps suggest they wear the open toe hose for those ladies that want to wear panty hose.

i planned on putting the flip flops in the day of survival kit i was putting together and giving it to them the morning of the wedding. I think most of them know they are getting them but they were expecting the Chinese slippers probably.. i know it's such a silly thing to stress about ... but that's me..lmao. but the open toe hose are a good idea!!! IMO- since your wedding is in November, I think I'd get something else. If it was the summer, I could see the open toe hose or no hose at all..but in november, they might wear hose...

I would just keep the Flip-flops! If I was a bridesmaid and got flip-flops from you to wear at the reception and I was wearing stockings, I would probably just take off the stockings!! It's such a cute idea - dont stress!!!

I would get the slippers, like the bridal ballet ones, and get them dyed to match the dresses, Craft Shoes has a bucket of them!!!

ohhh thats a good point about the stockings- i didnt think of that- yea i think the chinese slippers are better than the flip flops
