I want to buy my BM's monogrammed tote bags as part of their gift- should I buy them totes that match my colors (brown/pink) or should I buy them their favorite colors so that they will use them again?
I guess I am torn because I happen to love the brown and pink combo (hence why they are my colors!) and I think they match almost everything, but I want to make sure they are bags my girls will use again!

I think brown and pink is pretty neutral- most girls would use them again anyway. I say go with your wedding colors!

i think you should get them bags that they'll re-use. the bags don't really need to match your colors (not like the BMs will be carrying them at the ceremony )

You never know. They might use them again. I LOVE the brown and pink combo but FSIL gave us all brown and pink tote bags and to be honest, I use it ALL THE TIME!!!! Whether I liked the colors or not, when I need it, I use it.

I got them in the bm's favorite colors.. they all turned out to be the same- neutral bag witht he pink straps (like the ll bean style).
I wondered about this at first too, but like someone else said, they aren't going to be carrying htem around at your wedding, So it won't matter if they don't match your colors.
I say get them something they';; use all the time.

I'd say get them in their favorite colors if you can but if it's too much of hassle than your wedding colors should be fine.

I did neutral with black straps (not my colors)....the personalization will be thier fav colors and what not

definitely their fav colors. I'm not a fan of giving BMs gifts that have to do with my wedding. I want them to know I appreciate them and it's not all about me. Meaning DOJ, hair, makeup etc. That's for me not them.
So def bags that reflect their tastes.

I got them the Lands End ones in their favorite colors (or as close to it as I could). I don't think they're going to use them on the day of the wedding, and even if they do they don't need to match the dress (IMO). I wanted to get them something they'd use again, and I figured this was a good way!

I would say get it in thier favorite colors or like christina did and get a neutral color bag and get the embroidery in thier fav color
