BM vent....

So last night we were discussing the bachelorette party, just throwing some ideas around and one of my BM's says (to my face)...

'Well, you should do it in the first week of Sept because that's better for me.'



Mind you, I have a BM coming from California and one coming from PA. Do you think they want to travel the 1st week of Sept AND 2 weeks later for the wedding??

Better for HER?!?!? Who's getting married here??? I swear, do people really think that the world revolves around them?

I guess it didn't occur to her that she doesn't have to come huh?

You know the hard part about weddings is scheduling and you can't always worry about if this person can or cannot come. But the funny part is... you have 3 1/2 months for your bachelorette party to happen. Why would you pick the 2 weeks before your wedding to do it? And like you said... you're not going to make people turn around and come 2 weeks later for the wedding? That's insane and a huge incovenience! Not to mention most people wouldn't come if that was the case, most likely. But i think to accommodate your one BM... you should do it her way!!!

yes, if people must travel in, it clearly will need to be the weekend of the wedding!!! this one BM is just trying to be picky...and it will screw you in the end....b/c the other girls will likely say, sorry, i can't come to both.
