BM VENT

Im so frustrated right and let down by one of my bridesmaids right now. She didn't help my mom and MOH do anything for the shower. She never sent her response card back so I finally emailed her because I needed to know if she was bringing her boyfriend, and when she responded to that email, she tells me that she won't be able to attend the rehearsal or dinner because she can't afford to miss anymore work. ***!! She took a vacation in the beginning of the summer! She has known for a year and half that shes in the bridal party and she can't afford to miss work. To me that is a poor excuse. The rehearsal is at 5:30 .UGGH - I am so annoyed right now and hurt. I have not asked my BM's for any help with anything. I have not bothered them with anything for the wedding except their dresses. Is it too much to ask to come to the rehearsal????

She should definetly be there for you. You need to put your foot down let her know that. I had somewhat of a similar situation. I let this person know and they had to rearrange their schedule.

personal vacation or not, if you agree to be a BM you have to be able to at least plan your schedule accordingly! so mean! i'm sorry
