I'm just getting so frustrated!!! I have two bms. One just placed her order on Monday for her dress with no problems. My MOH keeps pushing it off and blowing me off for it. We finally set a time to order her dress on next Monday. And my other bm is living out of state. She's pregnant. WHY did she not get measured in the early stages? No, she waits til now. All I asked her to do is to get measured and choose a dress. I'll order the dress for her and then ship it to her for alterations. My place suggested that I place all my BM orders through the same place to guarantee the colors and everything. I'm sure they want the business too, but I like the idea of ordering from the same place so that all the dresses come in at the same time. But she too is insisting on ordering it somewhere else. Why can't the two of them just cooperate!!!! Sorry for the vent...I'm just so frustrated and it's just been one of those days....

I sorry that they are giving you problems, hopefully everything will workout in the end. And you are not wrong to want to order them from the same place, I have one BM out of state and she is calling in measurements to the place all the other BM's are ordering from.

I completely understand, I have 2 pregnant bms. I know it causes stress for you, but try to understand they are coping with ALOT right now too. Good luck

i am having the same situation almost, i have a maid who got preggo, now shes huge,and getting measured tomorrow. i have two bm putting things off, tomorrow was the deadline and she wants me to extend it another 10days, i am so upset, if they dont make it this time by the 20th then they dont have to be in it, i am getting soo frustrated.

Have these girls gotten married before? Some of my BMs are like these, but they've never been married and don't know what we go through. I'd say you should explain to them the reason they all need to get it from the same place. I've actually never heard of ordering from different places - you want to order from the same place so the dresses come from the same dye lot!! Otherwise, there is no guarantee they'll be the exact same color. After you say that, hopefully they will understand!

I agree totally...untill people are in the position of getting married then they have no clue the planning and preparation that goes though this...if she has gone through it and was just very lax on things, i would tell her how you feel. Say you might think i am being pushy...but I really need you to do this for me for my mental health...i hate worrying about it and once it's done i can forget it. That's how i feel about things...
