BM vent

So, my one good friend has yet to pay my FSIL/BM the money she owes her from my shower (which was nearly 2 weeks ago). It annoys me to no end b/c this friend of mine still goes out every weekend and gets her nails done, and goes tanning, etc. She had like 8 months to save money for my shower and she couldn't do it??? The icing on the cake was that last night she sends me a text message that FSIL emailed her asking for the money and she doesn't have it yet so she lied to FSIL and told her she had to lend it to her brother or something. WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW ANY OF THIS??? This money issue is between the 2 of them - I want NOTHING to do w/ it and now, I feel like I am stuck in the middle! FSIL hasn't mentioned a word to me, and she prob won't, but come on! I am going to talk to my friend today about this. I am at the point where I will just pay FSIL and have my friend pay ME back b/c I refuse to allow this to drag on and then cause drama at my wedding!!! My friend is dead wrong and I completely agree w/ FSIL on this. UCK!!!!

And on another note... FSIL needs to have surgery on her ankle that she broke at the end of Feb. She hasn't decided yet if she will have it now, or wait til after our wedding. She REALLY doesn't want to be in a cast and on crutches for our wedding. I feel so bad for her!!!

Unreal sometimes. I just don't get people half the time either. She shouldn't have to lie about it. You should lend your friend the money and then just get it back from her. Which will probably be never. What is she going to do when it comes time for your wedding. She is going to say 'I owe you one',

I know... she's just ridiculous and she's really making me angry. There was a TON of drama in the planning of my shower and even AT my shower, between FSIL on 1 side, & my MOH & this BM on the other. I don't even want to think about my shower anymore and that doesn't seem like it's going to happen

It's funny how the worse in people come out around weddings.

My bridal shower is tomorrow. In which I just found out after 4 years my brother is breaking it off with his girlfriend who is in (or was in) my bridal party. Whatever for that one.
Plus I love how people RSVP yes to a bridal shower and then the day before say they can't make it because they have another affair to go to. Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't have invited anyone from work. Whatever, I am over it.

To be honest I just feel Like your BM has no sense in her mind. Why would you try to make problems. I really don't get it.

Yikes I am sorry to hear about your brother & his girlfriend! I guess you know about your shower LOL! Well, I'm sure it'll be a great day, anyway! Post pics!!!

Yes I know about my shower. My lovely 39 year old cousin was sitting at our table 3 weeks ago and said to my dad. Hey Vinny before I forget I wanted to RSVP for the Bridal Shower for Rosa (his wife) on July 12. Dude, Do you not realize I am sitting right there. Oh well. I will still be surprised. I will post pics during the week.
