BM VENT AND ???

I have one BM that I became close with when we worked together. I invited her to my daughters christening in September. She said she would come and never showed up or called. She explained later that she got into a fight with her boyfriend and she was sorry. I invited her to my daughters first birthday yesterday and again she didnt show up and didnt call... I have yet to hear from her.

Now I am usuallly a forgiving person but this is getting sooo annoying. I hate when people say they are going to do something and not do it.

Now I am gave her the responsibility to be a BM in my wedding. She actually has to show up on my wedding day. Imagine if she doesnt show and call then... it would ruin my day!!! What should I do???

i woudl say definitely talk to her about it and express your concersn - even in a joke if needed - otherwise you will spend alot of time worrying and if she doens't show, you will have even more to dela with....you have nothing to lose by talking to her and being honest - then at least she knows where you arte coming from!!

Thanks. I guess Ill have to talk to her about it. Im afraid if we do have a talk and she says she will definitly be there then have her not show up or call AGAIN. I guess Im just thinking about past behavior dictating future behavior.

i do the same thing though...but maybe she would at least keep the conversation in the back of her mind if she deicdes not to come.....
