Hey Guys, I have been trying to think of ways to make my sister and MOH stand out against the rest of the girls. I know that a lot of people do a different style dress but I was thinking of a different color. The gown color I like is called sailor and I was thinking of complimenting it with darker blue color. What does everybody think of this combo (honestly) and is anyone else doing something similiar?
I think when done the right way two different colors looks really pretty. I personally really like blue so I think your choice will look very pretty. HTH!

I'm thinking of using two different shades of pink. I think it looks really nice when the shades are coordinated.

i think it will look really nice, just be careful, i cant really tell by the pic, but you want to make sure there is enough of a difference between the 2 colors so that the dresses dont clash and there is a contrast

Re: BM vs. MOH
I did this in my sister's wedding... her BM's wore 'lilac' and I, the MOH, wore 'victorian lilac.' They were separate shades of purple. The blues in the pictures you posted look a little similar though, I don't know if people will realize the difference.

Re: BM vs. MOH
I loooooooooooove the 'sailor' color! I'm pretty much switching to it from the regular midnight/navy color I originally chose for my BP.
I think the 2 different colors is a nice idea! I am doing dresses with sashes, so on my BP, their sashes will be black and my 2 MOHs will have white sashes. That's how I'm making them stand out. I like your idea too though!

i had a completely different dress as the MOH for my sisters wedding... the BM's wore satin, and i wore a different material (cant think of it right now)... the only difference was the I had it altered to tea length like the rest of the BM's to kinda match somewhat

Re: BM vs. MOH
I plan on having my MOH wear a dress in a lighter shade of purple then the rest of my BM's.
