I love the idea like i've said in the past black is very universal day, night ,spring, or fall i say go for it Black is very elegant tell us about your wedding

We are getting married 10/4/03.
I am very excited, but it is so much work!!!

We are having our ceremony and reception at windows on the lake- we booked our dj, photographer, video- that's it so far.
I think I am behind........

I just ordered my dress, which I love!
I got it from the bridal suite in Bay Shore- they are very nice.
Now I am working on the BM's!

A friend of mine had an all black bridal party, BM's in black dresses, guys in black tuxes..it was very elegant.

I like all black. I was thinking about it but my wedding is in the day in the summer.

Plus everyone looks good in black.

That's what I was thinking-everypne likes to wear black. I was looking at the separates- maybe I should pick a skirt and let everyone pick their own tops- excpet I would either want everyone in the same top, or everyone in a different top.

My BM are wearing black....my question now is, what should 12 and 14 year old Jr. Bridesmaids whete? Is black appropriate????

I'm doing black with a hint of silver. I'm having an evening ceremony . . .lots of candles...very elegant...Formal--but not stuffy. Formal...but not required.

Black is a very forgiving color. Since my BMs are on the fluffy side, I think they'll all look nice.

Go for it!

**Oh, my 4 flowergirls are will be in white. I personally think that black is a 'grown up' color. I'm thinking white dresses with a black bow.**

I have seen that also at a few weddings and I think it looks very elegant. I say go for it!

I did that I think my bridesmaids look great, felt sexy and it worked with an evening wedding. Who doesnt wear black 90% of the time in NYC anyway?

I am sure that the BMs would be grateful if you chose black. One thing to consider is the candid photos. In black, your bridesmaids will not stand out in dance floor photos. They will look like the rest of your guests. This may or may not matter to you, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.
