Ok im a bit neurotic lol. How are you girls lining up your bridesmaids at the alter? short to tall? tall to short? Varying heights? Preferably, id like my sister and law next to my moh (who are both much shorter than me) then my 2 friends who are taller than them and myself -then my other 2 sister in laws that are shorter..but i think that will look kind of weird??
Otherwise ill have to put my 2 sister in laws that im not close with next to me, then my friends at the end. I hope they dont get offended they are on the end?

you have to do what you want and not worry about it. And no I don't think it will look weird the whole short tall short thing. I totally get the neurotic thing....Im lining them up in age order because thats what is in my head and everyone is making fun of me but I don't care...LOL

one of my bridesmaids right after I had my bm dinner asking them all. she texted me how if she could be before another 2 bms because to her the bms go in according to I don't know your favorite? lol. I'm not really sure what she meant but she was like I think I should be before blah & blah. I never even thought of that or was even thinking about that stuff yet so I was just confused.
I guess when I line up my bms now whoever is at the end will think I like them the least? lol. I was more of just going to see who lines up with who and put certain people together as in certain guy/girl. luckily the bm who asked that stuff also asked to be lined up with one of fh's certain future groomsmen (he hasn't asked yet) so I was like I'll see wherever fh puts him.

like is that normal has anyone ever heard of that? lol. I never thought the bridal party is like #1, #2 in importance to me. I just thought wherever fh puts his guys and I wanted girls with certain guys I'd go with that. I never thought wow if I don't put her before her then she's gonna think I'm closer to her!

we plan to do it by height & matched up boys + girls accordingly, except those who are married with the partner being in the wedding party, but not if they are best man or moh

Thank you all!!! I think im overthinking this haha. I know myself, and my pics will bug me if they arent in height order so i will do short to tall. I'll just make sure I get individual pics with my bm's and give them as a gift or something. My friends arent the type to get offended if they are put at the end, I just kind of wanted them close to me..especially so I could look over and see them as im freaking out at the alter hahah. I didn't really think about this. I was just going to match my brother with my cousin because she would feel more comfortable with him. The others I didn't think about yet. I don't think it really matters.

The MOH and best man are going first, followed by the rest of the bridal party in shortest to tallest order. I've seen various ways to order the bridal party, but imo this is the most visually appealing, especially for pictures.
But in the end it all comes down to what you think looks good or feels right.
