BM's Dresses

BM's Dresses

Went to see the videographer and watched a demo video of the work he did.

There was a shot of the MOH and the Bride in the same shot... MOH was a big chested woman.. very big for her frame... and it took attention away from the Bride.. sorta...

depends who's watching it, I guess... hehe

would you de-sexy your BM's if they looked like they may take attnetion away from you?

Well, since my bridesmaids range in age as well as size, it was tough to find something that would flatter 12 different people...

I wasn't going for sexy--just because I don't that's appropriate...

I was going for demure, streamlined, traditional, etc...

I think I did a good job!

I feel like I can't be sexy on my weddign day, but my cousin's can! But, they are self conscious so, we are going pretty conservative

If someone was naturally sexy, I wouldn't care, but if it was soemoen that would order the dress tight on purpose to show off, I would keep that in mind when selecting the dress.

Personally, I hate, hate, hate when brides think they have to downplay their bridesmaids to make them feel better about themselves. It is a wedding not a beauty contest. BM's are there to support the bride and not picked or not picked based on looks. I just think brides who think that way have real low self esteem! To think someone's boobs will be better than you one your big day - comon now!

I was in a bridal party where the bride picked strapless dresses but yet asked her big chested bridesmaids to figure out how to down play their cleavage. They are woman and woman have boobs. And anyone who thinks that a BM takes attention from a bride on her wedding day is crazy. Unless a BM stood up on the alter and started shouting or something absurd like that to attract special and unnecessary attention - - the bride and groom will be the center of attention all night long!!!

I agree with Neicey...I picked my BM gown because my BMs looked gorgeous in them - and d@mn sexy too (not in a blatant, over the top way, but in a classy way). And they all have bigger boobs than I do

The way I see it, my bridesmaids are beautiful girls (I know I'm biased but my friends really are gorgeous, lol) and if I put them in something to try to downplay their looks or figures, it wouldn't work anyway. I want my girls to look their best!

I wanted my girls to look their best. I let them all agree on a dress so theywould be happy with what they're wearing. It wasn't my favorite dress, but they all loved it and I picked the color. I would never downplay their looks or curves, unless they just looked sloppy in something. I know that all eyes will be on me no matter what my BM are wearing. I'll be the one in the big white dress!

God, I hate when people do that. A good friend of mine did that and she had us in Alfred Angelo dresses that had a cowl neck, gloves and a huge bow on our butts!

She also only took 5 pictures with her bridal party.
