I wanted my girls to be in the same designer and color but different styles but they all loved one specific dress so they are all the same.

I love the look of different styles though

I had my girls basically completely pick out what dresses they like. The BMs fell in love with this dress that's ankle length by alfred angelo... but the MOHs wanted to be in a floor length... so the same style came floor length! So, now everyones happy. lol. They are just about the same though.

My BM's all all wearing the same dress. My sister who is my MOH is wearing a different dress sam material. I like how uniformity looks in pics. My dresses are in my album!

I had my girls do separates by Alfred Angelo. I picked the skirt and the color, they picked their own top. It looked good because they all looked like themselves. I would show you pics, but I haven't gotten any yet.

WHat a good question!

I would like them all to match, my sister (MOH) wants to wear the dress in yellow (maize) while my other two girls want amethyst...

The dilemma is that my sister has olive skin with dark hair and the others have red hair and peachy skin...

Do you think they could all pull off the yellow?

or purple?

hmmmmmmmm

hmm yellow is a hard color for people, especially pale skin....i was just at a wedding where the MOH had red hair and light skin and was in a plum colored dress and it looked nice

i would've been ok with it if they wanted to. But when we went to RK bridal and voting on dresses, they all loved the same dress, the only person who voted for a different dress was MOH and that worked out easy bc i told her she could just get the one she loved and the rest of the girls could pick the one they loved.

as long as youre ok with it then go for it.

I really wanted them to match, but after endless grief I decided to let them pick their own styles but had to be the same color, fabric and designer. Pics in my album

I am doing canary yellow... my photographer said it photographs nicely and a lot of skin tones can carry it.

i didn't match and loved the look. here's a pic of us - the only thing i told them was tea length and brown.

(the girl on the left actually got her's at lord and taylor, so it's a bit different than the other girls' who went through the bridal shop. i didn't mind though.)

A friend of mine had all her girls in the same color and fabric & length but she let them choose the style for the top of the dress that suited them each best....they all looked great in matching dresses that flattered each of their body types...
