We just had a last minute cancelation in the BP - yup 10 days before before the wedding!! and its not the first cancelation this month!! but that's another story - We currently have 1Best Man and 1 Groomsmen and 1 MOH and 2 bridesmaids.
I was thinking of just having all the guys up there with FH and the girls walking in alone. Then on the way out the GM can walk with 2 girls and same thing when they go into the RH.
What do you think about this?

i actually just went to a wedding last year where they did this. the GM were up w/ the groom and the BM's walked in by themselves.

that's exactly what we are planning on doing. All the girls are going to be walking down by themselves. On the way out our 1 Best Man will walk out with both MOH's and then everyone else will pair up and walk back down the aisle.

Im actually not partnering up anyone for my wedding because I have girls on the bride and groomside (7 in total) and only 3 guys. For the ceremony, everyone will be walking in and walking out one at a time. For the introductions at the RH we are entering to a fun song, and some of the the girls will come in pairs and the three GM will each be paired up with a BM, just to make the intros quicker.

they did that at my BIL's wedding...i think in the olden days thats how it was done... so its def fine!

I had 1 best man, 2 MOHs, 1 bridesmaid and 2 groomsmen.
The best man and DH were at the front of the altar. The guys walked in alone followed by the bridesmaid and each MOH individually.
On the way down the aisle, the bridesmaid was escorted by 2 groomsmen.

I am doing the same. I only have a MOH and a junior bridesmaid and a BM. So Bm will be standing up there with FH and the girls will walk in by themselves.

Personally I think I will be having all GM up at the alter with FH and have the BMs walk down the aisle one at a time.
