BMs with kids...

BMs with kids...

So two of my BMs have two year olds. They originally had said they would get babysitters, but they keep asking me if I want kids or not. I keep telling them it's up to them because I don't want to hurt their feelings or make it a drag for them. But now I'm worried they're going to leave early if they're miserable or be paying attention to them the whole time (and not me). I know I'm self centered. What do I do?

What do you really want?
Just tell them politely, I think Its best that you get a babysitter, that way you dont have to worry about them when you walk down the aisle or the reception entrance and you can have more fun you dont have to say that part but its true lol.

My MOH will have two children by the time my wedding rolls around and I don't have issues with her bringing them. It's up to her what she wants to do. I'm not bothered either way.

If I were you, I'd flat out ask them 'will you have to leave early and will it ruin your time if you don't bring them?' If they say yes, then you decide if it is worth it to exclude the kids based on their answer. If you know that no matter what the answer is, you don't want kids to attend, then just straight tell them you really want this to be an adult only affair. It is YOUR day!

That's good advice - I'll put it back on them...maybe they hadn't thought of that! Thanks!
