Bo-k Jewels?

I was going to buy jeweled monograms for my BM's and have them fastened to their bo-ks, but I can't justify spending $11/each for them plus shipping since I have 8 girls. Has anyone made them? Or does anyone have any ideas how to make them? It seems like it can be a much smaller version (they would be 1 inch) of the monogrammed cake toppers I've seen other brides on here make....

TIA for any tips!
