The florist told us about a palce where you send away for a kit and they sendit to you and then the daya fter the wedding you send them the bo-k.

For my sister;s wedding I went to the craft store and bought these crystals. They were for flower preservation. You had to completely immerse itin the crystals in a sealer container for 7 days. It came out okay. it preserved the color a lot better than hanging did (that's what id di with my MOH bo-k from her wedding). I don't know how well the professional preservation comes out, but it's pricey.

In the back of bridal mags they have ads for preservation, they put it in a shoadowbos and stuff..check it out.

I just hund mine upside down and let it dry out, and then I bought one of those clear acrylic boxes and put it in there. It's been 2 1/2 years and it's holding up just fine.

I am going to have my bouquet preserved after the wedding. You put a deposit with the company before the wedding and they send you a pre paid postal box and the day after the wedding you over night the bo-k to them. Then you work with a design team to come up with a design that you like. It is pricey. I think anywhere from $300-$600 depending on the frame and design. For me I love flowers and think it will be such a nice thing to have. The two companies I am deciding between are keepsake floral and heller and reid. Those are two popular floral preservation companies. There were two newlyweds that posted their bouquets and they were beautiful. I think one was luv2sun and the other was anniegrl. You can try FM'ing them. Here are pics of their bouquets that I saved.

As a wedding gift, my aunt is having my bo-k preserved. She's used this woman in CT about 15 times in 10 years! We went to her house and picked out the frame and backing that I want--she's got tons of choices. She does pressed or freeze-dried. I'm having mine pressed.
