Brian and I TRIED to play chess, but I am a beginner and he is way advanced and it he slaughtered me.
We also play domino's which we have a lot of fun playing.
We really dont play many board games.

John wants to buy Cranium, he heard it was a great game.
I wanted to buy Operation for my niece, but I think there are too many small pieces in it..maybe next year

i love pictionary!! monopoly, scrabble, chess, taboo (is that the game where you have a card with the word on top and your team has to guess the word w/o using the 5 words listed on the card??)

We play Cranium when we have other couples over to hang out with us because you need at least 4 people. Love that game. When we didn't have television we played Scrabble.

We play Scrabble, that's about it. I guess in 2 years or so it'll be Chutes and Ladders and other games like that.

Yes, we just played Scrabble on our vacation while it rained.... We also play the new updated Trivial Pursuit game and love to play cards (especially Hearts).
P.S. Jenn - remember, you are MARRIED now, so John would be your DH, not FH!!

Um, we're totally broke and not to mention big dorks, so of course we play board games! We play scrabble a lot, but FH is a sore loser, and we have way too many versions of Monopoly. We actually sit around with our friends and play Monopoly and drink. I would have to say that it far exceeds any fun time we've had going out! That, and we play UNO. Hardcore UNO fans in this house!

scrabble is not fun playing against my FH. I refuse to play scrabble with him. He comes up with the craziest words and they are legit. He plays KAT, KA, QAT, XU, and 7 letters words all the time.

Jenn I LOVE Operation too. Just played Cranium a few weeks ago with our friends. It was pretty interesting what drunk people do when they play that game

For a while we were on an Upwords kick. Its just like scrabble except that you can build on top of other words. I still want to play but hubby never wants to.
