Re: body rock

body rock is a recommended vendor for the scotto brothers so i am sure that they are good, i saw them perform at a showcase. the weren't particularly what i was looking for. they were also a bit pushy. they called me a bunch of times until i finally told them i had my music already.

Re: body rock

We didn't use Body Rock. They weren't the type of DJ we were looking for. We wanted a DJ who was very low key and concentrated on the music only. We did use Cassarino and have no complaints. The pictures came out great even with the weather being terrible! We had both traditional and B/W photographers. I don't have a scanner otherwise I would post some pics. The only negative I have heard is that they take a long time to produce the album.

Re: body rock

my sister used Body Rock and they were very good! The wedding danced all night. She aslo used Cassarino Studios. She liker her black and white pics but her color ones- they didnt take enough close ups of the bride and groom- she wasnt happy with that..

I used Body Rock and I thought they were excellent. I told them specifically that I didn't want ANY interaction from the DJ or MC, and I was looking for something very low-key. They did exactly that... they stuck to my playlist, and even played music that I forgot to put on my 'please play' list, so I thought they were mind readers! I had no complaints about them and recommend them to everyone!

I used body rock. My DH and I were very pleased. Everyone danced all night and I even had people compliment me on the DJ. We used Troy very nice guy. He really didn't need to interact because we had a dance croud.

Re: body rock

Sorry to add to the negativity, but we went to body rock and thought they were a little self absorbed. My FH used to be a DJ so had some really good questions and the last question he asked was what sets you apart from the other companies. His response was 'we are the best!'
Also we did not like how they placed you in those little chairs and the stood during their presentation 'talking down to you'
We want an entertainer but not someone who is going to take away from us

Re: body rock

I used Body Rock for my 7/4/03 wedding and I have both positive & negative things to say about them.

They were recommended by my friend who used them at her wedding in 2001 - they were excellent.

Positive - Very easy to work with, booked them 2 years in advance, always answered my questions. Kept the dance floor packed all night during the wedding. I had 3 'special things' that I wanted done - presentation of bouquet to the couple married the longest (done perfectly), father/daughter dance to be accompanied by all the fathers and their daughters (done perfectly), mother/son dance to be accompanied by all the mothers and sons (done perfectly). I got so many compliments on these things by my guests.

Negative - messed up our first dance. Our first dance was 'All the Way' by Frank Sinatra. They played the right song, however they played some other version sung by a woman. We wanted a 2nd dance played later on that night, and they ended up playing that song 2 songs after our first dance. I had 4 other song requests and they played 3.

Good news is that no one but me noticed these errors. They are very good at what they do, but it just goes to show you that no matter how many times you go over these things, they can still mess up.
