Has anyone booked or have had them DJ at your wedding? Are they recommended? THanks.

I have heard great things about them! I will probably not be using them though, a good friend of ours is getting married less than a month later and using them. Lots of the same guests and all, so I don't want to have the same DJ

I just saw them at a showcase last week and wanted to book them right on the spot! I didn't because I do want to see some other places first and we're kinda early (wedding isn't until 3/29/08) but I have to say FH and I were REALLY impressed and there is a 99% chance that we're going back to book them!

I've heard a lot of good things about them, and I used to know one of their MCs, Sergio, personally. He's a great guy and a talented MC.

They told us their packages start at $1495 which is the basics - 5 hours, a DJ and an MC. That's really all we wanted to have anyway. I know they have a bunch of add on's like light shows and plasma screens and stuff but the only extra I was interested in was the give aways. I'll post more info after I go meet with them

I booked them! I was at a wedding they did last year & really liked them - then was really impressed when I met with one of their representatives at the Carle Place office (her name was Joanne & she was great). Both me & my FH & his sister & her FH booked them on the spot.

They are great. They are the house DJ at my job and we recommend them to everyone. I didnt use them but they are good. We went with Unlimited Entertainment, they came is less.

I used them for my July '03 wedding and I was not very pleased with them. I booked Body Rock after hearing good things about them and my friend used them for her wedding back in '01. She had no complaints about them.
First, my complaints:
1. They played the wrong song for our 1st dance. This annoyed the heck out of me. I met with them twice and specifically went over the songs and they still messed up. Our first song was 'All the Way' by Frank Sinatra. I told them I wanted the original and instead they played another version of it with a female singer singing!
2. I requested 5 specific songs be played. They only played 2 or 3 of them. They missed playing the one song my dad really wanted to hear.
3. We hired a Sinatra singer (through Body Rock) to sing during dinner. Since our first song was Sinatra and we were having this singer, I told them not to play anymore Sinatra. Well, they ended up playing at least 2 or 3 other Sinatra songs (including 1 that the live singer sang during dinner!)
Second, my raves:
1. They did keep the dance floor packed all night, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and no one knew of the problems I had.
2. The parent dances, anniversary dance, cake cutting and last dance songs were done perfectly.
3. Music sounded good, I don't remember any sound problems.
4. MC was good, not intrusive, but got people up when they needed to.
They are pricey, and I could have found another DJ who would have done an even better job for less money, so I'm sad that I didn't look at more DJs.

My parents just went to a wedding on Saturday with Body Rock as the DJ and they kept commenting on how great they were.

I went to a wedding with Body Rock last month. I loved them! I thought they played a great mix of music and were great at getting people up to dance without being annoying and intrusive.

I booked them for my wedding. Sergio was the MC and he was AWESOME. People danced the entire wedding. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THEM!
