Hi ladies...I am meeting with Body Rock tonight and Bravura next Monday and I was hoping to get some feedback on either...or both! Any help, info, recommendations, issues, etc. that you can provide would be a great help!

We are booked with them & brother had them at his wedding! They kept the party going & were very good!

We loved Body Rock. Didn't look into Bravura, but Body Rock is a preferred DJ at JT so we checked them out. The price was right and they were excellent.
We have seen both at a showcase at CB and Bravura is my number one. FH, though, like Body Rock too so that is why we are meeting with both. Unfortunately, I really wanted to see Variety the other night but I got stuck on the train and they don't have any more showcases that fit into my schedule. Same goes for Tommy's Tunes :O(
Bravura blew me away at their showcase and I am really looking forward to meeting with them next week.
Do any of you ever check out the BBB?? Body rock has an F rating on there and that makes me nervous!

Really?! Wow! I just looked it up though and it seems as if the 'F' rating is based on ONE complaint that was 3 years ago. And the reason they received an 'F' was because they didn't respond to the complaint through the BBB. I used to take the BBB into consideration a lot more but now it seems as if businesses can 'buy' their accreditation so I take it with a grain of salt.
I think they do have to 'buy' their accreditation so to speak, but most vendors I have looked at are not accredited but you will still give letter grades. When I was doing my initial research, I did find some with A's even though they were not accredited. I don't know...i wish everything could just be handed to me on a silver platter...lol!

So we just got back from meeting with Body Rock and I was wondering if anyone else was bothered by the fact that you can put in a request for the MC you want but that it's not guaranteed???

Bravura hands down! They are amazing! We met with paul and he was so nice and accomodating. They also work with your budget and are willing to bargain. They offer live music and dj. Def would pick them.

I am a bravura girl... I booked on the spot with no showcase and no live experience. I did however see them live at a wedding recently and the dancefloor was packed all night. The only thing I didn't like was the photo montage! It totally ruined the dance all night vibe, but I think that would be the same with any dj. The other big thing is they offer live musical elements to accompany the dj and music ensembles for the ceremony and cocktail hour. That was the nail in the coffin for me!
When you meet with both... I would sit down and go with your gut and your budget!

Bravura My sister used them. my brother is using them and we went to FH's cousin wedding last week and they used the,. They do a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor and they don't do anything cheesy. Oh and we are using them too!
