Body wraps

Body wraps

Hey guys,
My big day is exactly three months away from today!!! I went for my dress fitting and it looks perfect except for my arms. They look a bit unproportional to the rest of my body. I got a wedding dress with sleeves on purpose to hide them a bit but am still conscious. My mom suggested maybe taking a few body wraps on my arms only but I do not know if they work or not. Anybody know? I am working out like crazy but my arms is taking the longest to reduce.

Re: Body wraps

I did one over the summer, and It was a waste of money!!! They swore I lost a total of 6.5 inches over my total body, and they were like, 'Ok, $100...you need like 20 more to get rid of all of this weight. They wrap you up like a mummy, poor boiling distilled water over you, throw a yellow rain coat over you, stick you up against this life-size vibrator and make you press yourself up against it (in my salon, it was out in plain view of every other person getting a manicure!!!) and at this point you are freezing!!!. And when they measure you, you really can't see if she is making it up or not. During this process, you loose all sensation in your arms. legs, fingers and toes, and when they unwrap you, you have these giant hickey like marks all over your body! My FH paid for it because he said he felt guilty if I wasted my money and it didn't work, but I learned my lesson...they are all gimmicks. This was just my experience, maybe my body isn't as moldable as other peoples, but I would not suggest this to anyone else!

Re: Body wraps

Maybe you should try lifting very light weights - say 3-5 pounds a few times a week. Arms respond VERY well and very quickly when you work on them.

Jennyg,
Do you suggest doing cardio before I do the weights or after? This may be my last hope
