Hi ladies, I have my wedding dress which is a silk fitted gown. However, it's a strapless gown and I just found out that I can't wear it to my church. What type of bolero should I get? I dress is simple, but with some sparkle on the top portion. Should I get a lace bolero? silk? what about shiffon?
I appreciate any help that I can get. Also, if you're selling one, please let me know. Thank you so much

I bought matching fabric from Joanne's and made one. Can you wear a capelet with some sparkle on the bottom? Those are crazy easy to make.

My gown comes with a bolero, but the designer might sell it seperately. It's a Paloma Blanca.. not sure if you are looking for all lace though. HTH!
It's just a little shrug, often knitted, but really no more than a rectangle that ties, and is about 12 inches from top to bottom. It's a classic look, but apparently anthropologie was selling one in 2005.

i had one made from the dress manufacturer. It was supposed to be 3/4 length but went full length and the detail was amazing. It cost me $250.00 But its off white so not sure if that would work for you if so maybe i will sell it to you for half the price.

David's Bridal has all sorts of wraps, etc. including chiffon ones
I just ordered a lace balero, I love it. It is simple and fits great. I might have some beading done to it but I just wanted it for the church. Link I also ordered the fur wrap and love it. I found this site on ebay. It came in 3 days great site.

the lace is gorgeous, but i don't know if you saw the most recent platinum weddings? she had a bolero that was satin and had like a popped collar, at first i didn't like it but when she put it on she looked amazing and it was so different and funky I fell in love! I was so upset that my dress is lace and I couldn't do that!

I'm afraid that I may need to get a bolero/shrug for the church, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding any. I'm looking for one that has short sleeves, and almost a mandarin collar. The 'ideal' one is similar to the one that the girl on platinum weddings wore, the episode where it was the blond girl having the indian wedding in las vegas. Has anyone come across any like this and would be able to tell me where they found it? Thanks...
