So.....I think I may have found my dress today...it is made by Bonny and the price is lower than I thought I would spend for a dress....(kind of happy about that)
My question is...do you think Bonny is a lower quality dress, since it is so resonable...I am not trying to sound snobbish, but I had intentions on spending more and the style that I happen to love was by them....
Any thoughts??? I was just wondering if the beading is going to pop off by the end of the night!!
thanks girls

As long as it didn't look like a lower quality dress.. you have nothing to worry about.
Noone would ever find out what brand your gown is anyway!! So technically it doesnt matter who makes your dress as long as the style/work is beautiful. You seem to love the style, so i'd say go for it!
I expected to spend a lot more on my gown and I got it for SO cheap (Mori Lee gown), so I'm happy I saved some $ and still found the gown I love!

I love Bonny gowns, although I didn't wear one. If you LOVE the dress, then wear it. I've seen lots of ladies on different message boards who wore Bonny dresses and loved them.

Re: 'Bonny' Gowns...
an inexpensive dress DOES NOT mean the dress will look or be cheap.
some of them may look cheap, but if you love it and didn't think it looked cheap at the time, i doubt it is!
i can never justify spending thousands on a dress that i'll wear for 7 hours. mine was $500 and i think it's just as nice as dresses that cost $$$$$.

I wouldn't think it was lower quality just b/c of price, I got a Maggie Sotero at a very good price. I've never heard of it, but maybe call around to different bridal shops and ask the ladies there, they know the brands well and can probably tell you. Or do a search on here to see if anyone had any problems. I thought I would spend a lot more too for what I wanted, but I'm happy that I didn't have to!

Re: 'Bonny' Gowns...
My dress is Alfred Angelo which I've read is 'lower quality' and in that bridal bargains book it got a really bad review but I love my dress and think it's beautiful. I undertsand b/c I had the same fears when I read all this stuff but I agree if you thought it seemed good in person, then I'm sure it's fine!

Re: 'Bonny' Gowns...
I wore an Alfred Angelo gown, which was a lot less expensive than some of the big designers out there.
honestly, it's a dress you wear for a few fittings and then for 1 day. quality was really never something I thought abut when choosing my dress. I bought it because I loved it. the quality was great. it lasted for the one day I needed it to last
