Bonwit Inn-in Commack

Has any one been to this resteraunt? It was recommended to me as a place for my rehersal dinner but the Zagat's gave it a pretty bad review. Any info is appreciated.

I have been trying to think of what to get for my MOH. I was thinking of a Tiffany keyring. I get her jewelry pieces often as gifts and I was thinking of facial or manicure coupons but I wanted to give her something that she could keep. She just got married so she doesnt need picture frames and other stuff like that. What do you all think?

We are using Dancejock. They have done two of my friends weddings, and are doing two more of my friend's weddings before mine, and 2 after. We have found them to be wonderful to work with and have been very impressed with them at every wedding we've been to.

I've never been there - just driven by. The review in Zagat's said something to the effect that it's 'glorified diner food.' I'm looking for a place for around 60 people that's not decorated tacky and has a seperate room. Any suggestions?

Im surprised about Zagats b/c I love that rest! (what bad things did they say?) I was just there a few wks ago for my mom's birthday. I almost scheduled MY rehearsal dinner there!! Have you ever seen it? What 'type' of place are you looking for? If you have specific questions, just let me know! :)

That's so funny - Wyndham is the hotel our guests are staying at. We need to find a resteraunt somewhere in the vacinity between the hotel and Northport (where the church is). I will definitely check out Bonwit now that you've given it such a glowing recomendation - thanks!!

Thanks for the well wishes. The surgery is on the 26th. I'm hoping that the second week I'll be able to:

* Work on the place cards - I'm hot-gluing a little flower in the corner and can get started on some names as responses come in.
