Yeah I saw that yesterday that they started one. I would do it. Now that I am taking off from school for the spring semester I have more time to read.

I have wanted to start a book club for years. Not an online one, though, a real one that meets at a coffee house or something once a month, as a way to meet new people and to get me to read consistently. If anyone is up for it let me know! I would want it to be on the nassau/suffolk border.

you can start one with friends and each month when you meet do it at somebodies house, and each time you pick a different person to do it at the house

Thought about that - but I really want to do it to meet new people and none of my friends like reading as much as I do anyhow

i do most of it during my commute and it also helps SOOO much...when i read while commuting the time flies and sometimes i'll look up and see my stopand be like oh WOW im here already.

i love that idea. i've been wanting to do something like that, just dont' know of any book clubs. and to meet only once a month is good, cause it gives you time to read other books as well.

me too! i feel like that's the only time i have to read.
yeah for me its perfect...mine is at least one hour each way so that gives me about 2 hours a day...ill finish books in 2-3 days

We should totally do it!! I LOVE to read. I read on my commute everyday and sometimes I get upset that I can't finish what I'm reading because I have to get off the train. haha I'm a dork.
