I think the Oprah ones have a little bit of everything....I'll read anything so it doesn't matter to me!

I usually read a little bit older books though so I can borrow it from the library instead of having to buy.....cheapo I know......lol

I picked oprah type books. I feel that they would provide the best discussions. mystery books are great but there's usually not a lot of ideas to discuss, you know what I mean? oprah books and those types of books - heartfelt books about emotion, etc - make you think and everyone can interpret them differently, which is what would be great in a book club discussion.

I agree! all of us are trying to save so it would really be great if would could get books that are a little older.

i agree lol...if its part of the reading its fine i just wont read that book and wait until the next one lol

I like anything except romance.. don't read those books sorry. The Oprah book club type or even the mystery type (Davinci Code for example) are my preference.

I voted for Oprah's. But anything is good for me. I bought A Love in the Time of Cholera and haven't found the time to open it yet...

Oprah book club, or New York Times bestseller books are usually good.

Id prefer no romance books , and most murder/mystery books are not my thing either
