Book makeup without a trial ...

Book makeup without a trial ...

Has anyone done this? I am thinking of booking my makeup artist and then doing a trial at a later date. I just want to wait until I have an idea of my dress and coloring etc

I just dont want the person to end up booked!

I actually did this!!! I had three make up trials and was so sick of wasting money, that I found a fourth person-absolutely LOVED her work and personality- and booked her. I am going to set up my trial later on!

I personally wouldn't book hair or makeup without a trial. I ended up absolutely hating the trial for a makeup artist I went to that had amazingggg reviews. I had loved her work and thought it was possible that I would book her on the spot, but I ended up hating how my makeup looked.

This did happen to me too! I thought I was going to love one of my trials and hated it, but I'm not worried with this person.

I wouldn't do it, but that just me. I booked my hair and make-up people 6 months before the wedding and that was more than enough time.

I did this, actually! Booked Oksana because i loved all her work I'd seen and then had a trial closer to the wedding. She was amazing! :)

The woman who's doing my make up has done it for me for every wedding i've been in so I'm not doing a trial. she's amazing and i totally trust her. if i didn't then i'd def do a trial.

I'm not even gonna do a trial at all! She has an awesome reputation, don't wannt waste any time of the 39 days I have left!

I did that and then cancelled because my trial was terrible. I ended up losing the deposit.

I, personally, would not take that risk.

I did this. I knew the makeup artist I wanted was really popular so I took a chance and booked her more than a year out. I had my trial back in the April and everything was fine. I think if you know in your heart 100%that you want that person then you should book

I have to say that I did book my makeup without a trial! I was very confident in the person that I wanted just by seeing her trials with other girls. Good luck!

I booked both my make-up for the wedding and for the TTD shoot without a trial. I just didn't have time for the wedding trial and didn't want to waste money for the TTD shoot. I trusted them both based on their work and boy was I happy I did!
