Just finished Portrait in Sepia by Isabel Allende. I thought it was great - very interesting. I started it on the plane yesterday and finished it last night.

I was just thinking that I read a book by that author. Then I noticed she wrote Daughter of Fortune, which I read a while ago..

Teri - I have a lot of time on my hands Between waiting at the airport and my flight (which was delayed) that was a good 8 hours or so.
Natasha - this was the continuation of the story started in 'Daughter of Fortune', but I haven't read that one yet.

I tried Daughter of Fortune maybe 3-4 times and put it down every time! I just couldn’t get into the story – maybe I’ll try this one first…..

I don't remember much from daughter of fortune, but I think it is in my personal collection. I will have to take a look at it.

I am seen this book many times and always thought it looked really interesting. I will have to put it on my list.
